Getting your Provisional Licence

Before driving on a public road, you need a valid Provisional Driving Licence. The Driving Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Application form (Form D1) can be obtained from: Ground Floor, 3 Merchant Drive, Carlisle, CA3 0JW •Your local Post Office •DVLA on line at: www.dvla.gov.uk/onlineservices/orderforms

The Theory Test

The theory test must be passed before you take the practical exam. It is a multiple choice computer test. There is also a Hazard Perception Test. I can advise on the learning materials required and will be there to advise and provide you with support at every stage. To book the theory test you will need to contact the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) on 0300 200 1122 or online at www.dsa.gov.uk

The final practical exam is also booked with the DSA. I will let you know when I feel you are ready for your test.
